The Anatomy of Lactation Consult: A follow up to Beyond Demographics.

Step by step walk-through of a consult from intake to physician report. Focus on streamlining workflow, charting during the consult, potential differentials and critical thinking skills.

Functional Assessment Skills (Infant):

Structural assessment (normal vs abnormal exam), functional assessment (reflexes, oral exam, suck swallow breathe dysfunction), feeding assessment. Focus on potential differentials.
